Birthday parties are one of my favorite things to plan. Not only do I enjoy how happy the kids are when they see all my hard work, but I also have a lot of fun putting it all together. If it wasn’t for Pinterest I’m sure this would be a different story 😉
To make the birthday invitation fast and easy I follow these 3 easy steps. I use the same steps every time. It makes designing the birthday invite very easy, anyone can do it!
Step 1 – Start Collecting Ideas
I use a birthday board in Pinterest to collect ideas of photos, wordings and card designs that I like. I create a new one for each birthday. Makes it easier to find.
Step 2 – Use Picmonkey To Create Your Invite
I love using Picmonkey for making custom images. You can add pictures, text and embellishes anything you want. If you have never edited a photo this free option is a great place to start.
Step 3 – Print or E-mail Your Party Invitations
I send my finished invite to a local photo lab to be developed. For as low as $0.19 you can’t go wrong, it also gives it a nice finished look. I send the photo as a text to some of my family too (if everyone is online you can do your invites for free!)
