5 Valentine Gift Ideas for School Kids

I really enjoy helping Liz get her valentines ready for school. I remember when I was a kid sitting at our kitchen table with my mom going thru the class list and making sure I had a valentine for each one. I can only hope that Liz will have the same memories. This year I have turned to Pinterest for ideas again….

Great ideas that your kids can take part in for creating a valentines gift for their friends, classmates and other family members.

These are some of my favorite Valenties gift ideas. I think they would all be great for a school aged child to make and give to their classmates.

Circle of Hearts Bracelet!

If you child loves Rainbow Loom this is a great option. Or if they are like mine and hardly ever touch it, it’s a great way to use up all the bands she “just had to have”

What a great way to make sure everyone gets one and keeps them safe during their travel to the school and home again. *If they make it home 😉

Father’s Day Card By a Toddler

This year for Father’s Day I wanted to do something fun with William. He’s still too young for a lot of craft idea I have, so we stuck with a card. It’s something fun to make that didn’t require a lot of attention or time; perfect for a toddler. I hope daddy will like it.

Mother’s Day Card for Grandma

It has taken me until the end of today to post this as I wanted to make sure the 2 wonderful grandmas got the real card before seeing it on-line.  The best part about this homemade card is that it can be for any time; Birthday, Mother’s Day or just because.

My kids and I had a lot of fun making these cards. I love including the kids hand prints and foot print as it gives that personal feeling that you can’t always get with little ones who can’t color yet. However William was very able to add his coloring to the card this time.

Newborn Diaper Liners, Make your own… A to Z Challenge

Newborn Diaper Liners – How to make your own

Most of my diapers are one sized pocket diapers with snaps. I love them however they don’t really fit until about 9lbs. This would make starting cloth from the start quite difficult. I needed something else for the first few weeks.  Luckily I have a pile of prefolds and newborn size covers I had purchased when I first started using cloth diapers with my son.  However I could never quite get the prefolds to fit in the shells and moved onto pocket diapers as my son grew so fast. This time I was going to make them work, I just had to figure out how.
