The spring is the perfect season for the cleaning of all internal and external parts of your real estate property. Once you finish with the disinfection of the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and all other premises of your house, you have to take care of the garden as well. The sooner you finish with this task the better too, because the weed and the insects will appear the moment the temperature begin to rise. There is no need to worry about that, though, because with a couple of simple procedures you will prepare your garden for the spring and the summer. Here is what you can do:

  • Inspect every inch of your garden – The inspection of your garden should be your first step. You can look over the old flower beds, check to see if the soil is wet or dry and look around for pests. You can also see if the fence surrounding your garden is in good condition. Fix the damaged areas and you can also repaint your wood fence if necessary. Since you will be using your tools a lot during the spring and the summer, now is the perfect moment to inspect them too and replace the old and broken ones.

  • Clean the old flower beds and your greenhouse – The cleaning is another important chore you will have to do. You can pay more attention to the flower beds because you will need them very soon. Remove all leaves from every part of your garden and don’t forget to take care of the deciduous grasses as well. Cut and remove all dead grasses and plants from your garden, so that you can make place for the new ones. Your greenhouse probably will also need a little cleaning, so don’t forget to include this task in your list as well are saying from gardeners in Maida Vale

  • Plants some flowers early – If you want to enjoy a beautiful garden during the summer, you will have to start early with the planting of some flowers. As you probably know, some of them need more time to grow and that is why it is important to plant them as early as possible. In this category fall the Begonias, Pelargoniums, Antirrhinums and others. If you don’t know a lot about sowing, you can consult with the specialists at the shop when you go to purchase the seeds.

  • Take care of the pests now – The pests are one of the biggest problems for every person who has a garden. That’s why it is a good idea to take care of them early too, preferably before the beginning of the summer. For the purpose you will have to take a closer look at your garden and remove the hibernating pests, the snails and everything else that could endanger the place.

Here is how with a couple of simple steps you can prepare your garden for the arrival of the spring and the summer. You will be very happy with yourself once you see the first results of your work. By doing those simple things, you will secure the safe growing of all plants in your garden during the following months.
