It has taken me until the end of today to post this as I wanted to make sure the 2 wonderful grandmas got the real card before seeing it on-line. The best part about this homemade card is that it can be for any time; Birthday, Mother’s Day or just because.
My kids and I had a lot of fun making these cards. I love including the kids hand prints and foot print as it gives that personal feeling that you can’t always get with little ones who can’t color yet. However William was very able to add his coloring to the card this time.
HAPPY MOTHER’s DAY!! To all the moms and moms-to-be that are reading my blog.
Happy Mother’s Day!
Being a mother is something I always wanted to do. When I was young and people would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up the answer was always a mom. This may be why I never continued education past high school 🙁
My start to motherhood was not a planned one. It was not a start I would suggest to anyone, but it’s not something I would change for the world either. The obstacles I have overcome have brought me to this point in life. Although there have been many hard times I would not change anything in my past. Every hard time, every happy time, every person I kept close, and others I left behind made me who I am today. And today I am happy! I have finally found my place in this world. I am working hard to become the mother I know I can be!
I have been blessed with two healthy amazing kids. I know how lucky I am and am thankful everyday for them. Without them who knows where I would be. Maybe I would be working in some big city, bring in 6 figures. But I know if that was the case I would not truly be happy. There is no greater joy than that of your little one cuddling in for a snuggle.
Love Cuddles with my boy
Or the sound of that little voice saying, “I Love You Mom”
